Founded in the late 1970s by local logger and chain saw sculptor, Rodney Richard, also known as
The Mad Whittler, the Logging Museum has become an important part of
Rangeley's local lore.
The Museum will be open Wednesday through Sunday, 11-5, June 19th to Labor Day. You may also find us open on Mondays and Tuesdays by chance. If the flag is out, stop by! We'll be glad to show you around.
After Labor Day the hours are Thursday through Sunday, 11-4. We welcome large groups! To schedule a special time for a group visit please call us to make arrangements! See you soon. Meanwhile, please "like" us on Facebook.
